First Anniversary of the Empire of Lehmark - 19 June 2025

Today the Empire of Lehmark celebrates its first anniversary!! As Emperor and Autocrat of Lehmark, I release the attached Imperial Statement and the included Independence Day Honours. 

In short, I would like to thank every Citizen and especially Minister who has supported our Empire and contributed, be it great or small, your efforts have helped make this Empire. 

I congratulate our recipients as well.

Department of Imperial Order - 17 June 2025

The Imperial Government proudly announces the unification of the Department of Justice and the Department of Defence into a consolidated body—the Department of Imperial Order.

This strategic merger ensures a more streamlined approach to governance, where legal integrity and national security are integrated under a single command. The Minister of Imperial Order shall now be entrusted with the full responsibilities previously held by both Departments, overseeing the safeguarding of the Empire and the continual development of its judicial frameworks.

Furthermore, in recognition of their expanded role and direct authority over the Imperial Legion, the Minister of Imperial Order has been formally appointed General of the Imperial Legion, thereby becoming second in command of the Imperial Legion. 

Imperial University Expansion - 12 June 2025

The Imperial Government is proud to announce the expansion of the Imperial University with the addition of two new Associate Degrees, marking a significant milestone following months of diligent effort. 

The first, the Associate Degree in Imperial Law, provides comprehensive instruction in governance, legal principles, and incorporates a new Ministerial Training Component designed to prepare future leaders of the Empire. 

The second, the Associate Degree in Legal Practice (Bar Exam), enables Citizens of Lehmark to become Licensed Legal Professionals. Graduates will be qualified to serve within the Imperial Judiciary as Judges, Lawyers, and Prosecutors—bolstering the Empire’s legal framework. 

Further advancements are underway within the Department of Justice, including the drafting of a Judicial Procedure Manual and the establishment of a Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office—clear demonstrations of the Imperial Government’s commitment to law, order, and due process.

Imperial Legion Reform Announcement - 8 June 2025

Today marks a significant milestone in the reform of the Imperial Legion, ensuring greater functionality and adaptability in its dual role as frontline forces and Provincial Police. While challenges had previously hindered the seamless integration of these responsibilities, we have now developed a structured approach to resolve these issues effectively.

Redefining the Role of Privates

Privates are now categorized into two distinct groups: In-Province Privates and External Privates.

• In-Province Privates are those who reside within an official Province of the Empire and will undergo an improved Training Program to better equip them with the necessary skills to balance their policing duties with their military responsibilities.

• External Privates, given their geographical distance from a Province, will operate differently. To enable their effective service, we have established the Outpost Program, allowing the establishment of a designated outpost. These serve not only to extend the Empire’s influence but also to facilitate surveillance operations and weapons management.

Standardizing Legion Weaponry

Originally, the Legion was envisioned with firearms as a core component. However, given practical limitations, a new Standard Weapons system has been adopted. The Legion will utilize household tools repurposed for defence and strategic utility, including knives, hammers, garden stakes, and axes. 

The updated Training Program now includes guidance on weapon handling, disarming techniques, and multi-tool adaptability, ensuring that every Legionnaire is proficient in using available resources effectively. These weapon choices align with our capacity to equip the Imperial Legion while reflecting our status as a micronation. 

Manchuro Climate Accord - 4 June 2025

The Imperial Government is pleased to announce that the Empire of Lehmark has recently joined the Manchuro Climate Accord, an environmentally focused organisation founded by the New York Federation. We are excited to be part of this organisation and supporting a greener future. 

Mst Hon. Thrupney, Count of Middleton spearheaded the proposal of joining and will also serve as the designated delegate for the Empire.

Reforms and New Programs - 24 May 2025

Imperial Government Directive 

After much discussion, the Imperial Government has launched the revised Imperial Government Directive with new Development Plans for each Department. These Plans guide the Empire's development and provide each Minister and Department meaningful tasks to complete which expand services and national infrastructure. Lehmark isn't like other micros, our Ministers actually complete tasks and genuinely work to support the Empire.

Quarterly Cultural Programs 

The Imperial Government is proud to launch our Quarterly Cultural Programs. Each Programs runs for 3 months and occurs yearly. A different subject/topic will be chosen for each Program, with a winner being selected from submissions, and winning an amount of LDT. Our Arts and Poetry Programs already have winners for 2025! Namely, Mst Hon. Princess Anni, MONA and HL. Omar, Count of Middlewest, their entries can be found on our website. The Literacy Program will begin in July. Programs and related channels, are only open to Citizens, apply to today and join the fun - Citizenship Application. 

Imperial Law Degree 

The Department of Education is close to finalising an Imperial Law Degree, complete with 8 lessons and an exam. This Degree will explore all areas of Imperial Law and related legal system. Once launched this Degree will be a pre-requisite for future Ministers. This will go in conjunction with a new Bar Exam to register legal professionals. More information to come. 

Lehmark Comedy Club 

A new social club, the Lehmark Comedy Club has been launched by, HL. Omar, Count of Middlewest, join via ⁠#social-clubs.

Lehmarkian Autocracy - 11 May 2025

Issued on 9 May 2025, Imperial Decree 00012 reaffirms Imperial Authority, abolishing the office of the Imperial Chancellor and the electoral system, while transitioning the Imperial Senate into a purely ceremonial institution. 

His Imperial Majesty had previously governed the Empire directly, later introducing the role of the Imperial Chancellor and Elections to encourage greater citizen participation. However, ongoing inactivity among citizens and successive Imperial Chancellors led to stagnation. In response, His Imperial Majesty has decided to restore direct leadership over the Imperial Government, ensuring renewed progress and prosperity for the Empire. 

As part of this reform, the Department of the Imperial Chancellor has been dissolved, while the Department of Finance has merged with the Department of Internal Affairs to form the Department of National Affairs. Over the past 48 hours, extensive efforts have been undertaken to transition previously Assented Imperial Acts into new Imperial Decrees, ensuring legal continuity. Additionally, the official website has been updated to reflect these changes, and His Imperial Majesty has commenced extensive discussions with the Ministers of the Imperial Government to align governance with the renewed vision for the Empire. 

Furthermore, this Imperial Decree establishes the Imperial Advisory Council, which will serve as a consultative body to guide national development. In the coming days, as the reform is finalized, His Imperial Majesty will seek accomplished experts in law, justice, economics, military affairs, and culture to join the Council, contributing their knowledge and insight to the continued advancement of the Empire. The Imperial Government will also be seeking to fill the positions of Minister of Education and Minister of Defence.

Recognition of Service - 4 April 2025

Today I have an important announcement to recognise the ongoing service and dedication of a core group of Lehmarkians that have shown an exemplary level of dedication to both the Empire and the Crown. 

Firstly, I wish to recognise Mst Hon. Princess Anni, MONA, who has served the Empire for the longest out of any Minister and has shown a level of dedication and duty I can only dream of finding again. In recognition of that, her titles, namely, the Duchies of Twilight and the Forest have been merged into a new title, the Principality of Twilight, and from this day she will be known as Her Highness, the Princess of Twilight. This is the first time such title has ever been granted and is the highest rank of nobility we have to offer. 

Secondly, I wish to recognise Quinlan, Duke of Lehville, who has been a strong supporter of the Empire, and diligently served as Minister of Culture, until other circumstances required their attention, they supported the growth of culture and community within the Empire. Previously titled as the Count of Lehville, I am proud to say that the County has been elevated to the Duchy of Lehville, and they will be known as the Duke of Lehville. 

Thirdly, I wish to recognise Omar, Count of Middlewest, he has shown also a great level of dedication and growth during his time serving as MOFA and now Minister of Culture. It's been a long while since we have had a Minister show this level of excitement, dedication and interest. I declare him from this day as the Count of Middlewest. 

Last but not least, I wish to recognise Thrupney, Count of Middleton, who is serving in two of the most difficulty positions as Imperial Chancellor and Minister of Education and who has shown strong commitment to these positions. I declare him from this day as the Count of Middleton. 

These extraordinary Lehmarkians, have received a Ennoblement Certificate and Coat of Arms, see our website. 

Discord Server Changes - 22 March 2025

We've made some slight changes to our Discord Server, namely:

1. The Debate Channel has now become ⁠#arguing, this channel will have limited moderation, however restrictions on racial slurs and swearing still apply. For the full set of Rules, see the Channel Description,

2. Diplo-Chat has now become ⁠#micronational-affairs, where everyone with access, is permitted to discuss their nation, other nations or any ongoings in the micronational community. We have also created specific roles for Diplomats and Leaders. Access and roles can be gained through ⁠#react-roles. Those who wish to change their Role from Diplomat to Leader, go to ⁠#react-roles click the Diplomat button to lose it and then click the Leader button,

3. Membership for Social Clubs has now moved to ⁠#social-clubs, which include better instructions for Lehmarkians who wish to register a Social Club or for Server Members who wish to join one via a react role, Social Club Membership is not restricted and is open to everyone. We have also included specific embeds for each Social Club. We would love to get more Social Clubs going, and Citizens have previously expressed interest for a Numismatics Club, Book Club, MicroWIki Club and a Minecraft Club - if you are a Citizen and want to lead a club review ⁠#social-clubs and fill out the Form.

Citizenship Age Changes - 16 March 2025

In order to promote the growth of the Empire, the minimum age requirement for Citizenship has been lifted, enabling people of all ages to become Citizens of Lehmark. 

On top of this, a minimum age of 16 years old has been introduced for Executive Positions and Election Candidates. 

Therefore, I'd invite everyone who is interested to apply for ⁠Citizenship.

Finally, I have also opened a new social club called the Vedantic Society of Lehmark, you can join via #react-roles, we also have a Music Club as well. 

Launch of the First Social Club on Discord - 8 March 2025

The first Social Club in Lehmark has been launched and can be joined via ⁠#react-roles!! 

Lehmark Music Club 

The Lehmark Music Club is a group of people in Lehmark who want to talk about and share their favourite music. 

No specific genres, no requirements, Membership is free and open to Lehmarkian citizens. 

Quinlan, Duke of Lehville will be the President of the Lehmark Music Club.

Register Your Own Social Club 

All Lehmarkians can register their own Social Club by applying and gain:

Social Clubs can be of any nature and any topic, you are free to run them how you like and offer a unique experience to our Citizens and Empire, collaborate with the Minister of Culture and even host your own events!

New Imperial Government Reporting System - 2 March 2025

The Imperial Government has introduced a new reporting system for Ministers using the Appy Bot. 

The Imperial Government Directive is a crucial document outlining the Development Plans for each Department and their respective Ministers. 

Historically, Ministerial Progress Reports have played a significant role in enabling the Imperial Chancellor and Emperor to monitor work progress and provide guidance or address questions. However, these reports were often informal and did not always yield the desired outcomes. 

With the implementation of the Appy Bot, Ministers now have access to the Minister Progress Report Form (MPRF-001), which includes specific questions to enhance communication and better support our Ministers. 

Additionally, reminders via MEE6 have been configured to notify Ministers every three days to complete the report. 

We anticipate that this will boost government functionality and efficiency while simultaneously granting greater autonomy to our Ministers 

New Citizen Payments and Bonuses - 25 February 2025

The Imperial Government is pleased to announce that new Citizens will receive a 1,000LDT New Citizen Payment. 

The purpose of this payment is to spur economic growth, enable business development and movement of the LDT currency. 

Current Citizens will receive a 500LDT bonus in recognition of their loyalty to the Empire. 

Imperial Government Directive Reforms - 22 February 2025

The Imperial Government is also pleased to announce that a new Imperial Government Directive for 2025 is being issues from today. These new Development Plans come after weeks of discussions between the Emperor, Chancellor and Ministers and aim to progress law, infrastructure and community within the Empire. 

A new Imperial Government Code of Conduct is also being launched from today, this updated Code aims to regulate expectations from Ministers and drive the importance of communication, clockins and reporting.

Imperial Legion Reforms - 25 January 2025

The Imperial Government is pleased to announce major reforms for the Imperial Legion, which can be summarised as the following:

• Ranks numbers have been reduced and Duties have been clearly defined,

• The Structure of the Legion has been changed to better reflect Citizenship numbers and future Membership,

• Limits have been placed on particular Ranks to prevent unnecessary Promotions,

• Promotions are based on activity, such as messages sent and time spent at that Rank,

• Privates who make up the bulk of the Legion, will not only serve as front line forces but also as Provincial Police,

• Captains will now be appointed in the capacity of a Provincial Governor, with Lieutenants sharing the same Rank but restricted to the Field,

• Captains will oversee Provincial Administration, which includes a Province based Platoon which acts as Police,

• The Imperial Legion Training Program and website have been updated to reflect these changes,

• All Citizens of Lehmark are eligible to join the Imperial Legion.

Business Reforms - 18 January 2025

In order to support the economy of the Empire, the Imperial Government is pleased to unveil our new Business Reforms aimed at growth and simplification of processes. 

We have significantly reduced and simplified the Business Registration Requirements to create a more streamlined application process. This has been accomplished by clearly defining the rights and responsibilities of businesses and posing key questions for applicants to answer in their business plans. 

Additionally, both the Business Application Form and Revenue Reporting Form have been updated to reflect these changes. 

We have also introduced a Business Grant for businesses registered for over 3 months, allowing them to access up to two grants per year, each worth up to 20,000LDT. This initiative helps businesses tap into their economic potential and grow without incurring debt.

Creation of New Provincial System - 1 January 2025

I am pleased to announce that the Empire of Lehmark has introduced a new Provincial Governance System, including Governors and Provincial Police. 

While Provinces will not have any devolved powers or internal governance, Governors have been created to assist with general provincial administration such as the enforcement of law, provincial finances and settling provincial disputes. On top of this, we have also reissued Imperial Decree 00002 - On Nobility of Lehmark to better define the rights and associated abilities of the Peers of Lehmark, including better defining their Estates.

Creation of the Imperial Court of Lehmark - 29 November 2024

I hereby announce the publishing of Imperial Decree 00008 - On the Imperial Court of Lehmark. 

The Imperial Court of Lehmark primarily acts as the administrative arm of the Imperial House of Lehman, supporting the activities of the Imperial Crown and a forum for the Nobles of the Realm, who will serve the Imperial Court is a variety of Court Positions. 

Release of the Imperial Government Directive - 21 November 2024

The Imperial Government of the Empire of Lehmark is pleased to release the updated version of the Imperial Government Directive 2024. 

This Directive outlines the projects and plans of each Department and what each Minister is expected to work towards achieving. This document is publicly available on our website. 

The Imperial Government has successfully worked through and achieved most of its intended goals since June 2024, this updated document outlines new projects which will likely flow over into 2025.

The Empire of Lehmark is pleased to announce that we have annexed the Province of Iaschwig in Shanghai, China. 

The Province is home to Yiming, Duke of Iaschwig and his Ducal Family. As the Province is an apartment, our claim is limited to Apartment 3.

Ennoblement of Alexandra - 6 October 2024

I am pleased to announce that due to their dedication and support of both the Empire and the Imperial Government, Alexndra, Duchess of Lehopolis has been granted the title of, Their Grace Duchess of Lehopolis and have been granted a plot of land in the Imperial Capital. They have also received a Certificate of Ennoblement, Customised Coat of Arms and a special role on Discord which reflects their Title and grants them access to the Nobles Forum.

Launching of the New National Calendar - 26 September 2024

We are proud to be launching our newly created National Calendar, comprised of the Cultural Calendar and the Legal Calendar, carefully curated by our Minister of Culture, Quinlan, Duke of Lehville. 

Cultural Calendar 

The Cultural Calendar is a calendar of some of the most important festivals and events around the world. Celebrations of festivals on this list in Lehmark can be supported by the Department of Culture. By no means is this a complete list of all the festivals ever, and as the needs of the citizens change, so will this list.

The Legal Calendar is the calendar of official national holidays that are celebrated across the nation. Celebrations in the cultural side depend on the demographics of the citizens in the nation, and may change depending on the needs of the nation.

Launching of the Business Centre - 23 September 2024

I would like to announce the launch of our new Business Centre, offering Citizens and Foreign Entities the opportunity to register a business within the Empire. 

I invite you to explore our new Business Centre on our website. The Imperial Government is hopeful that the launching of these Services will enable the economy to grow and ensure the provision of goods and services. It is our intent that the Lehmark Digital Token will now become more widely used. More information on LDT. 

Creation of the Imperial Legion - 15 September 2024

This is a proud day for the Empire of Lehmark as we are announcing the creation and launch of our self-defence force the Imperial Legion. The Legion consists of 19 separate ranks and a training program provided by the Imperial University - which covers numerous topics across 10 lessons. 

All Citizens of Lehmark are entitled to apply for the Imperial Legion. Following successful application, the Citizen is now considered a Recruit and is promoted to Private once the training program is completed. 

The Emperor and Autocrat will serve as the Marshal of the Imperial Legion. A new Department called the Department of Defence will be headed by the Minister of Defence, who doubles as a General in the Imperial Legion and will be responsible for overseeing the Imperial Legion.

Creation of Lehmark Digital Token Details Page - 21 August 2024

Following the launch of the Imperial Bank Bot, we have now also completed the token details for Lehmark Digital Token (LDT) which can be viewed here - https://ldt.lehmark.com/ 

This now completes the Empires transition to a cryptocurrency based financial system. 

This also means the Empire of Lehmark has sucessfully created an independent financial system. Our first true step towards independence. 

Launch of the Imperial Bank Bot on Discord - 13 August 2024

I am pleased to announce that today we are launching the Imperial Bank Bot of Lehmark and we would like to thank Alexandra, Duchess of Lehopolis for their dedicated service in building this. Please see the official explanation below. 

The Imperial Bank of Lehmark offers comprehensive accounting and financial services to everyone, not just Lehmarkians! 

By leveraging the Stellar Network, a decentralized and efficient blockchain designed for fast and low-cost transactions, the Bank facilitates transactions using our exclusive cryptocurrency, the Lehmark Digital Token (LDT). This ensures that people of all ages can access the Stellar Network, maintaining Lehmark’s financial independence. 

If you are 18 or older and have a LOBSTR Wallet (or any Stellar-compatible wallet), you can easily deposit and withdraw LDT. Additionally, LDT can be traded and sold for other cryptocurrencies on the Stellar Network, including Bitcoin and USDCoin. 

People of all ages can utilize the bot to maintain their balance of LDT and conduct transactions. 

Commands Available: 

• /account = Checks Account Balance 

• /create_account = Opens a Private Account 

• /deposit = Allows LDT deposit from your personal Wallet 

• /pay = Pay another user with your LDT Balance

Building of the Imperial Bank Bot of Lehmark - 10 August 2024

Alexandra, Duchess of Lehopolis has been helping the Empire to establish a new banking bot, that will utilise our own cryptocurrency, Lehmark Digital Token (LDT), for payments and accounting between Citizens. Withdrawal and depositing functions will also be available. 

More Detailed LDT Explanation 

LDT is a fully fledged token on the Stellar Network, meaning if you are 18+ and have a compatible crypto wallet you can purchase LDT and trade it on the Stellar Exchange, you could even buy Bitcoin with it - assuming someone well sell it for LDT! 

However, Citizens within the server will be able to use the bank bot within the server to pay each other real LDT. And if you have an LDT balance in the Bot and a crypto wallet you can withdraw the LDT to your wallet, and likewise in reverse you can deposit LDT into the bot. This is revolutionary technology and will establish Lehmark with a fully independent financial system accessible by Citizens of all ages and allow us to establish an independent economy.

The Empire of Lehmark is Created - 19 June 2024

On 19 June 2024, His Imperial Majesty William I, Emperor and Autocrat of Lehmark created the Empire of Lehmark and did so by publishing Imperial Decree 00001 - On Founding Document. See Imperial Decree.
