The Department of the Imperial Secretariat serves as the Empire’s principal authority for foreign affairs, international coordination, legal review, and official documentation. Operating under the direct command of His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor and Autocrat of Lehmark, the Department ensures that all communications and engagements reflect the dignity, sovereignty, and strategic priorities of the Crown.
Key responsibilities include:
Diplomatic Applications. Reviewing submissions via the Diplomatic Relations Application Form – DRAF-001, preparing treaty documentation for approval by the Imperial Secretariat and final assent by the Emperor and Autocrat.
Annexation Applications. Processing requests submitted through the Annexation Request Form – ARF-001, drafting formal treaties in accordance with Imperial Decree 00009 – On Provincial Administration.
International Relations. Maintaining structured engagement with allied nations and partners to strengthen Lehmark’s global presence and diplomatic standing.
Legal Review. Conducting periodic assessments of Imperial Law and submitting amendment proposals to the Emperor and Autocrat, as permitted under Imperial Decree 00012 – On Lehmarkian Autocracy.
Imperial Documentation. Drafting official decrees, correspondence, and state communications at the direction of the Crown, ensuring consistency with Imperial Decree 00001 – On the Founding Document.
The Department upholds Lehmark’s international integrity and legal coherence, ensuring that all documentation and engagement reflect the Empire’s values and strategic direction.

The Empire of Lehmark seeks to establish Diplomatic Relations only with nations interested in developing genuine bilateral connections. Nations with a signed Treaty of Mutual Recognition must maintain regular contact with the Empire. If there is no contact for 12 months, the Treaty will be dissolved.
We aim to create a genuine connection between mutually recognized nations, to achieve this Leaders of applying nations, should be Members of our Discord Service prior to applying.
Allow 7 - 14 days for a response via email. Your nation will be vetted to ensure the relationship will be mutually beneficial.

Have existed continuously for 12 months or longer
Have a website and a Discord Server
The Head of State must be older than 17
Not promote hate speech, violence, intolerance of religion, race, gender or ethnicity.
Lehmark rejects all notions of international warfare and will not involve ourselves in any such conflict

Imperial Decree
Imperial Decrees are the highest form of legal and administrative instruction within the Empire of Lehmark, issued solely by His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor and Autocrat of Lehmark. These documents establish law, define governance structures, and direct national development.
The Department of the Imperial Secretariat is responsible for drafting, formatting, and archiving all Imperial Decrees at the direction of the Crown. Each decree reflects the Empire’s evolving priorities and is preserved as part of Lehmark’s legal and historical record.
