As established by Imperial Decree 00002 - On the Nobility of Lehmark, the Peerage of Lehmark is a noble class composed of Citizens who have been granted a Title and Estate by the Emperor and Autocrat. This system affirms the cultural and ceremonial identity of the Empire while aligning with its centralized, merit-based governance.
All Peers are styled by their family name and granted one of the following equal titles:
Lord (masculine)
Lady (feminine)
Lex (gender-neutral or non-binary)
Titles are not tied to geographic regions or ranks. Instead, they reflect noble lineage and family stewardship. For example, a Peer may be styled as Lord Smith, holding the Estate of Smith.
The title of Emperor and Autocrat of Lehmark is unique and reserved exclusively for the Head of State.
A grant of land bestowed upon a Peer is formally known as an Estate. While held exclusively by the titled Peer, all Estates remain part of the Empire and are subject to Imperial Law.
Peers are granted the Right of Development, which includes the ability to:
Establish a Family Manor
Create up to three physical or digital businesses
Found a farm, vineyard, or grove
Construct buildings and amenities to support the Estate
Estate size may scale in accordance with the Peer’s standing and service to the Empire.
The Emperor and Autocrat may grant a Peerage without land, styled as Lord, Lady, or Lex of the Empire. These titles are ceremonial and not attached to an Estate.
Such titles are inheritable by the firstborn child, regardless of gender, and become extinct if no heir exists.
Peers do not hold judicial or legislative authority, nor may they levy taxes or extract finances.
Peers have the Right of Recognition, affirming their noble status and place in Lehmarkian society.
Peers may freely design and register a Family Coat of Arms, Motto, and Symbolic Style.

Created by Imperial Decree 00008 - On Imperial Court of Lehmark, the Imperial Court serves a dual function of being an extension of the Imperial House of Lehman and a forum for the Nobles of the Realm.
The Imperial Court of Lehmark primarily acts as the administrative arm of the Imperial House of Lehman, supporting the activities of the Imperial Crown. It achieves this by establishing and promoting roles necessary for managing the private affairs of the Emperor and Autocrat, as well as ensuring the smooth administration of the Imperial Finances, Imperial Palace, and associated household responsibilities.
The Nobles of Lehmark are appointed to Imperial Court Positions, to assist the Emperor and Autocrat in managing the activities of the Imperial Crown. This arrangement ensures that the Nobles of the Realm have direct access to the Emperor and Autocrat, allowing them to voice their concerns and provide input directly to the Crown.
